Let’s start at the beginning. Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had pretty long hair. Up until 2 years ago, when I was desperate for a change and chopped it all off. I had a blunt bob for a while, but recently I’ve been missing my long locks. So I started to grow it out.

As much as I’d love to say that we’re outta the woods with this whole snow thing, I feel like this past weekend has been a strong indication of what’s to come. A freaking ton of snow. Winter can, however, be a wonderful time for so many reasons (Christmas, hot chocolate w/ marshmallows, curling up in front of the fire with a good book, etc), but one thing I absolutely, positively, without a doubt, cannot stand is the dry skin that comes with it. Number one enemy. Thanks, but I’d rather not have the 2 inches of my exposed leg looking like scaly snakeskin. And that’s why I’m going to tell you how I (try to) avoid dry, flaky skin during the winter. Continue reading
