Thanksgiving weekend has come and gone, and while I’ve come out of my food coma, there’s a (good) chance I gained 5 lbs in the process. I only had one big Thanksgiving dinner, but I’ve got one word for ya: LEFTOVERS. Yes I ate them all weekend and no, I have no regrets.
Thanksgiving is a time of reflection – truly being able to look back on the year and seeing how far you’ve come, and everything that you’re thankful for. Plus there’s yummy food + sweater weather so how could this not be your favourite season?
Here’s what I’m thankful for this year:
You guys, fall weather is my jam. Crispy October mornings, pumpkin spice lattes, cozying up with a good book, and baking fall treats are only a few of my favourites. Plus the aforementioned sweater weather – honestly is there anything better?
I’ve traveled quite a bit this year, and I am so happy that I get to explore new cities with my best friend. Traveling is one of my top priorities right now, so being able to save up and go on a vacation is truly such a blessing.
I know this is not a typical one, but here’s the thing: I’m grateful that I get to do work that I am 100% in love with. Not everyone is lucky enough to find their dream job, so I am taking full advantage.
Hands down, I have the most supportive friends and family. They are all ears when I’m blabbering on about the ‘ol blog and I love them for it. More than once they’ve offered to step in to shoot with me when my boyfriend isn’t available – the sweetest! I love what I do, and the constant the support I get from them is such a good reminder that we should always be supportive of others, even when you’re feeling kinda lost yourself.
All of you, who follow me here on the blog and on Instagram, thank you so much for your constant support. The fact that you take the time out of your busy day to visit the blog or leave a sweet comment on one of my photos, it literally makes my day. Like I’ll stop and show my boyfriend mid-Netflix, I get that excited. You are the reason I get to do this, and for that I am eternally grateful.
Happy Thanksgiving Canadian friends!
