It’s been a minute since I’ve been able to update this blog but I guess that’s what happens when you get sick. In the summer. *Insert rolling eye emoji.* I’m just going to talk about this for a quick sec. I got a serious-but-not-so-serious head cold this past week and I was pretty annoyed. You know why? Not only because I was well, sick. But because it also meant I fell behind with literally everything – blogging included. There were a few instances that I almost went against my better judgement, and tried to stay up late to finish everything. But I listened to my body (super important), took a break and it was the best thing I could have ever done. I slept in, rested, and generally took it easy. And guess what? It worked. Anyways, I’m back and feeling SO much better, and wanted to share a little event I was invited to with you guys.
A few weeks ago, I got to attend the A/W Thomas Sabo preview and it was so. much. fun. Peonies? Check. Floral staircase? Check. Personalized bracelet? Check. By far the prettiest preview I’ve been to.
I met some new friends and got to learn all about the new collection at the cutest venue, Berkeley Field House. Thomas Sabo, you guys definitely know how throw a party.
My favourite collection was easily ‘Together’, merging a heart and ring together as one (seen below).
We were also able to engrave a bracelet for a chosen loved one. My best friend got engaged in May, so I decided it would be a perfect little engagement present. Wedding planning is insane (so I’ve heard), so it was nice to do a little something for my favourite bride-to-be.
Let’s talk about this insanely gorgeous collection, yes? There are two central themes: yearning for the faraway and love of the familiar. In the jewellery collection there are gorgeous avant-garde looks, filigree diamond jewellery, elegant Sterling silver essentials, strong new Rebel at heart designs, plus personalized engraving! If you want to get your hands on a piece of your own, you can shop the collection here.
