As a busy student who’s always on the go, healthy eating can be hard at times.
I love making smoothies as a snack for in between meals, or even using a
full serving as a meal on its own. Here’s one of my favorite strawberry and blueberry smoothie recipes:
To make the strawberry smoothie, you’ll need 2 cups of strawberries, a banana, 1 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of orange juice and 1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt. You’ll want all your ingredients refrigerated for an on-the-go smoothie (so its the perfect cold temperature). If desired, you can add a little honey to the mix for a sweeter taste – but personally I find that it tastes great without it!
To make the blueberry smoothie, use all the above ingredients, but replace the strawberries with blueberries.
